July 2011 Birchbox

I know, I haven't posted in a few months, so I thought posting about the new July Birchbox was acceptable. I was super super excited when my boyfriend sent me a text while I was at work and said, "Your pink box is here." The only thing I could text back was, "YAYYYYYYYY!" I love getting packages. This, however, is my second Birchbox. For $10 a month you get to try pretty decent sized samples. Hell yeah! I wish I knew about it sooner! I love trying things before I buy them, that way I KNOW whether I'm going to like them or not, instead of wasting xx amount of money on them, only to find out I don't like it. Yeah, we've all done that.

Anyways. As soon as I got home, I started taking pictures of the unboxing process. A first for me, because I usually rip through boxes and throw the packaging everywhere.

So basically what I got in mine was:

1. AHAVA Mineral Hand cream

2. Philosophy purity made simple one-step facial cleanser

3. Redken Shine Flash

4. Zoya nail polish in Shay

My extra was the KIND bar in Almond & Apricot.

I'm so so so excited to try them. Of course, I have a ton of Zoya nail polishes, but I don't have a nude pink! I've never had a KIND bar, so another first for me. I hear a TON TON TON of good things about the Philosophy products, but alas, I've never tried them. I've never heard of AHAVA, but, I love hand creams, lotions, and anything that makes my hands soft! I did try some out while writing this blog, and the texture is really light. It almost feels powdery. But it smells good, and what do you know, my hands feel soft. I honestly don't know how I feel about the Redken Shine Flash because I don't like anything that gives the effect that my hair is super shiny, greasy, and the like.
